Edo, Enugu, Abia sweep medals as National Open Para-powerlifting championship ends 

The inaugural National Open Para-Powerlifting Championship, hosted by Abia State, has ended successful Umuahia, with Edo State topping the medals table.

A full of 51 medals were awarded to the victorious athletes, comprising 18 gold, 17 metallic and 16 bronze medals.

Edo State won six gold, 2 metallic and 3 bronze medals, up of Enugu State, which won 4 golden medals.

Abia State, the host, secured 2 gold, 2 metallic and 2 bronze medals to decorativeness 3rd connected the table.

Delta State recorded 2 gold, 2 metallic and 1 bronze medal, portion Plateau State won 1 gold, 3 metallic and 3 bronze medals to enactment up of Oyo and Lagos states, which won 1 gold, 2 metallic and 1 bronze medal each.

Kano State recorded 1 gold, 1 metallic and 1 bronze medal, portion Osun won 1 metallic and 1 bronze medal.
