PDP dissolves Kano State Working Committee, chairman accepts removal

As the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dissolved the party’s full Kano State Working Committee (SWC), the removed State Chairman of the party, Dr Bello Gambo Bichi, said helium accepted the enactment arsenic his sacrifice for a amended PDP.

According to a missive dated Thursday, September 24, 2026, and signed by the PDP National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, the dissolution took contiguous effect.

Responding to the dissolution, Bichi explained that helium wholly accepted his removal due to the fact that it was portion of the preconditions laid down by erstwhile authorities governorship campaigner Dalhatu, who besides sacrificed his candidacy for Muhammad Abacha.

The letter, addressed to the Kano State PDP president and titled “Dissolution of PDP State Working Committee, Kano State”, stated that the determination followed owed consultations by the party’s National Working Committee.
