PDP in Benue suspends Anti-Party Activities by Ayu

The National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, has been placed on administrative leave by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Executive Committee in the Igyorov ward of the Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.

Ayu was suspended by the ward Exco for anti-party activity after a vote of no confidence was taken against him.

Ayu’s anti-party activities and those of his allies, who also chose not to cast ballots in the governorship race, Banger Dooyum, secretary of the Igyorov ward part, claimed when reading the resolution of the ward Exco.

Additionally, he is charged with failing to pay his yearly dues in accordance with the party’s constitution.
