According to Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, “the discussions also focused on the African Leaders Peace Mission and the need for a long-term, sustainable solution to the movement of grain from Russia and Ukraine to the international markets.”
On July 13, 2023, the president of Ukraine and the president of South Africa spoke on the phone.
