Lagos ADC Governor Candidate Refutes Leaving For PDP

Funso Doherty, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for governor of Lagos State, has denied abandoning the race in favor of Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, the PDP candidate.

Doherty claimed that media accusations that the ADC had destroyed its infrastructure in Lagos for the PDP were incorrect in a statement on Monday.

He claimed that the Jandor had made contact with him, asking to speak with him and offering to work with him, but he had turned down the invitation.

According to the ADC candidate, the “fake news” is getting worse since more people in Lagos are picking them as a legitimate alternative to the current administration.

He referred to the attempts to dash the hope that he was rousing in Lagos as sponsored efforts and fruitless endeavors.
