In Ebonyi, gunmen killed the APGA ward chairman.

Monday Idoko, the chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the Ohofia Agba Ward of the Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Idoko was fatally shot in the head in his home in the Ohofia-Agba community’s Onueke hamlet on February 12, 2023, around 11:00 p.m.

Before being fatally shot by the assailants, the late Idoko was reportedly engaged making preparations for a postponed visit to the region by Professor Benard Odo, an APGA governorship candidate.
