According to Akpe, the distribution of sensitive goods commenced on February 23 and the final batch was delivered to the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) on February 24.

She stated that the sensitive materials were retrieved from the Central Bank of Nigeria on February 23. (CBN ).

She stated that the papers were delivered to the six area councils in order for stakeholders such as the media, political parties, IPAC, and other agents to watch the distribution.

“Therefore, we brought the paperwork for the six area councils here so that the media, political parties, IPAC, and other agents could be witnesses.

“We also needed to integrate the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) that was with us because we wanted to configure them for each of the polling units.”

Thus, when they brought the ballot papers, we now inserted the BVAS for each of the area council and sent them under great security.

As a result, Akpe urged FCT residents to vote for the change they want to see.

“Your prayer points will not be counted; your vote will,” she explained.

Akpe refuted the concept that persons without voting cards may cast ballots using only the last six numbers of their cards.

She stated that the electoral Legislation required people to be present with their PVCs before voting; “there is no voting without your PVC,” she stated.
