The APP Secretariat in Rivers State is rocked by explosion

At the Action People’s Party (APP) secretariat in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, an explosive device went off.

The glass on the window close to the affected location was broken by the explosion, which apparently happened at midnight.

Two security cars and officers have been sent by the Rivers State Police Command to the area in the new GRA. Additionally, routine operations are proceeding without incident in the area.

Relatively unknown in Rivers State, APP recently came to light when it secured and furnished a building in Port Harcourt’s upscale neighborhood to house its secretariat.

There are rumors that the party has the support of some People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members who are dissatisfied with how their party is currently being run in the state.

Even while it is regrettable, this episode raises questions about the party’s recent surge in support in Rivers State.

The event has not been discussed between the police and the party.
