Tinubu says I won’t let hoarding of naira or a lack of petrol stop me,
The All Progressives Congress’ Bola Tinubu, who is running for president, has attributed the country’s continuing gasoline shortage and rise in fuel prices to the actions of some saboteurs.
On Wednesday, Tinubu addressed at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State, during the presidential campaign.
In recent weeks, the price of fuel at the pump has increased, ranging from N270 to N400 per litre, to the chagrin of many Nigerians.
The flag bearer, who addressed the throng in Yoruba, claimed that some individuals were actively attempting to sabotage the next elections.
Tinubu, who withheld the identities of those responsible for the shortage, also charged those same individuals with hoarding the currency in an effort to thwart the upcoming elections.
Despite the hardships, he pleaded with the populace to vote for him despite the shortage of fuel and increase in gas prices.
The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, the first national chairman of the APC, Bisi Akande, and Deputy Director of the APC Campaign Organization, Adams Oshiomhole, among others, were standing beside Tinubu, who declared that the APC would win the election.
He remarked, “They are the ones who know why they are doing that; they keep the fuel and the money.
“If you’d like, modify the naira’s ink. The PDP will lose, and we will triumph.
The urban youth is present. I’m a native-born person. We’ll seize control of their government. those who are bad.
They oppose the election taking place. They want the election to be halted. Will you let them in?
