An investigation into a student’s assertion that she graduated from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, with the aid of God and her private parts has been opened.

The girl thanked God and her private parts in a live broadcast on her social media account (TikTok) following the defense of her National Diploma project.

Since then, the viral video has sparked widespread indignation, with many people demanding that the college take disciplinary action against her.

The school administration reacted by announcing on Monday that it had started an investigation into the lady’s claim.

The lady’s assertion was deemed blasphemous and contrary to the institution’s moral standards, according to a statement made by the institution’s registrar, Mrs. E. C. Anuna.

This is to tell the public that the Federal Polytechnic Nekede management has started thorough investigations into the identity of the student who boasted on TikTok about how she graduated with the aid of God and her private organ. The fact that the aforementioned student promoted the name of the Almighty in her destructive conduct is even more blasphemous and contrary.

“The management finds the student’s behavior to be wholly absurd and unacceptable. The Federal Polytechnic Nekede takes pride in being a school with strong moral and intellectual standards. Students and faculty are both quite aware of the repercussions of any wrongdoing. In an unusual step, the administration had established hot lines for students to report any instances of exploitation or corruption through the numerous disciplinary committees. These committees work diligently to see that any faculty or student found to be in fault receives the proper penalty.

“Therefore, the horrible tweet of this alleged student does not reflect the caliber of our institution. Since he is a priest, the institution’s rector has made a strong commitment to establishing discipline in our pupils through seminars, solemn assemblies, outreach programs, and publications.

“When our investigations are complete, we’ll release our conclusions and statements to the public. We are responsible for making sure that only students who have been deemed deserving in terms of study and character get certified. We will continually be resolute in our commitment to this.
