A former Real Madrid fullback Marcelo re-joins his old team, Fluminense

Vieira Marcelo, a five-time Champions League champion, has joined Fluminense in Brazil as a new player.

The Brazilian signed up with his childhood team as a free agent after leaving Olympiacos, where he had played 10 games and scored three goals.

The caption “The moment to go back has arrived” was used on the Rice Powder’s official Twitter profile to announce their son’s return.

According to rumors, Marcelo was on the verge of joining Cristiano Ronaldo, another former Madrid colleague, in Al-Nassr.

Fabrizio Romano reportedly stated that there was no imminent agreement between the Saudi club and the 34-year-old.
