Abuja-based lawyer from polygamous home reveals how his step brother reacted when he sent everyone money for the holidays

An Abuja-based Nigerian lawyer has revealed how his family members reacted when he sent each of them money last December.

He shared his experience while reacting to a conversation about people who receive free money and reply with just “seen”.

He wrote: “Your own people even say “Seen” and you are complaining. My dad had 5 wives and 25 kids. I am second to the last son and the 22nd child. 

“In December, I shared 50K minimum to everybody. That was 1.150 million naira minimum that I shared to my family members. 

“One of my step brothers called me and asked me to send my account number to him, I did and he sent his own 50K I earlier sent to him back to me. He said I am a big lawyer in Abuja and that he expected more from me. 

“In January, the same guy I am sure became broke and called me back to beg me to send him the 50K he rejected. I just blocked him till today. My own people don’t even say “Seen” not to talk of “Thanks”.”
