A woman is receiving praise from social media users for returning to the polls covered in blood following a claimed attack by political thugs.

The woman was allegedly attacked insurrectly while casting her ballot in Surulere, Lagos. She received medical attention after the incident, had her wound bandaged, and still summoned the bravery to return to the voting location. Many on social media are praising her as a “hero.”
