APC wins seats in the National Assembly in Ekiti.

All nine of the National Assembly seats in Ekiti State were won by the All Progressive Congress.

The All Progressive Congress was named the victor of all nine National Assembly seats in Ekiti in a statement signed by Prof. Abayomi Salami, the Ekiti Resident Election Commissioner, and INEC’s Chief of Voter Education and Publicity.

The Announcement, which was provided to reporters in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday evening, revealed that the APC had won both the state’s six federal constituencies and its three senatorial districts.

Opeyemi Bamidele won the Ekiti Central Senatorial District with 69,351 votes, defeating Ajijola Oladimeji of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 26,181 votes, and Arowolo David of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who received 15, 092 votes overall.

Cyril Fasuyi of the APC won the Ekiti North Senatorial District with 54,224 votes, defeating Funso Ayeni of the PDP with 39,397 votes. Ayegbusi Oladele of the SDP came in third with 1739 votes.

Yemi Adaramodu received 63, 189 votes, defeating incumbent PDP Senator Biodun Olujimi, who received 36, 191. Abiodun Fasakin Isaac received 1406, placing third.

Members of Congress

Ikole/Oye Constituency: Rotimi Akintunde of the APC won with 25,517, followed by Bimbo Daramola of the SDP with 14,524, and Yinka Akerele of the PDP with 9,754.

Femi Bamisile of the APC won the Emure/Gboyin Ekiti East Federal Constituency with 31,711 votes, while Emiola Jennifer of the PDP came in second with 14,290 votes and the SDP candidate finished third with 2,776 votes.

Ijero/Ekiti West/Efon Constituency: Omoleye Abiodun of the APC easily defeated his opponents with 29,296 votes, while Lere Olayinka of the PDP came in second with 11,504 votes and Oladipo Michael of the SDP followed behind with 6,749 votes.

Ido-Oso/Moba/Ilejemeje Constituency: Kolawole Akinlayo of the APC won with 25,701 votes, defeating Ajayi Samuel of the PDP who received 20,186 votes. Awoyemi Ebunlomo of the SDP finished in a distant third place with 342 votes.

Oluwafemi Victor Fatoba won the Ado-Ekiti/Ifelodun/Irepodun Constituency election with 39,183 votes overall. Fayose Oluwajomiloji of the PDP finished first runner up with 12,295 votes, and Obayemi Temitayo of the SDP finished third with 10,899 votes.

Southwest Ekiti, Ikere, and Ise-Orun

With 30,699 votes, Ojuawo Adeniyi of the APC won. Akomolafe Henrich Bankole of the PDP received 19,699 votes, while Ayenimo Gboyega of the SDP received 1,298 votes, placing him in second place.
