He said that the final seven days of the 10-day extension will be used to crack down on the obstacles impeding the currency redesign policy’s successful execution.

“I’ll get back to you, CBN and Minting Company. The last seven days of the 10-day extension will result in a decision, the president declared on Friday.

After speaking with governors of the All Progressives Congress, he revealed his opinion (APC).

The president claimed that the new currency will help the economy and have long-term advantages.

He questioned the banks’ dedication to the policy’s success and labeled them as “inefficient.”

Even if a year is extended, he claimed, “some banks are ineffective and just concerned about themselves. Problems related to selfishness and greed won’t go away.”

The president claimed that the APC governors supported his choice to redesign the currency and that they agreed with it, but he also pointed out that the plan had been poorly executed and that their supporters were growing more and more irate.

Following their meeting with the president, the governors said they requested that the old and new notes should be allowed to co-exist.
