Buhari took advantage of his trip to Doha to attend the United Nations conference, where he, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, and other world leaders mobilized political will, solidarity, and actions to transform LCDs by finding long-term solutions to challenges such as poverty, food insecurity, hunger, poor infrastructure, inadequate health care, and climate change, among others.

He also strengthened ties with foreign leaders and promoted the country’s regional and global engagements. He also had meetings with Nigerian professionals in Qatar.
