Davido returns to social media and announces a new album release date.

Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has made a social media comeback following the terrible death of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in 2022.

Davido stated in a post on his verified Instagram profile that he is ready to face the world once more with the release of his next musical endeavor, the Timeless Album.

“There is a time for everything,” Davido stated in his post. There is a time to mourn and a time to heal. There are times to laugh and times to dance. There is a time to talk and a time to be silent. Thank you to everyone for your love and support, which has kept me going. All of your love and words while I was away, the presents you sent, and the performances you all put on! I appreciate everything. Today, I’d like to remind everyone that what is now Timeless was once fresh. It’s time for something new. My new album TIMELESS will be released on March 31st.”

Davido is a well-known musician with a global fan base due to his engaging personality and captivating demeanor. Upon the death of his son, Ifeanyi, on October 31, 2022, his devoted followers sent their condolences and best wishes.

Following the tragedy, Davido stepped away from social media, returning just briefly on December 18 and 19, 2022, before and after his electric performance at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The football tournament’s theme song, “Hayya Hayya (Better Together),” was recorded by Davido, Trinidad Cardona (USA), and Aisha (Qatar), and received excellent reviews. It’s encouraging to see Davido back on social media and ready to share his music with the rest of the world.
