Election in 2023: Buhari travels to Daura, Katsina State

In preparation for the presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, President Muhammadu Buhari traveled to his hometown of Daura in Katsina State on Thursday.

At precisely 4:41 p.m., the presidential plane landed at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport. Ten minutes later, the jet’s doors were opened to allow the President and his entourage to disembark and travel to Daura in a white helicopter.

The Katsina State governor, Aminu Masari, and several of his cabinet members, including the Chief Justice of the State, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, the Commissioner of Health, Engineer Yakubu Nuhu Danja, and the chiefs of various security agencies, were on the scene to welcome the top citizen.

Senior civil servants, politicians, and businesspeople were there to greet the President.

The President is anticipated to cast his ballot in the Sarkin Yara (A) Ward, which has fifteen (15) polling places, in the Daura Local Government Area, Katsina State, on Saturday.
