Father of Lionel Messi disputes Saudi Arabian relocation

The Argentine star’s father, Jorge Messi, has dismissed rumors that he will be relocating to Saudi Arabia in the upcoming year.

On Tuesday, there were numerous reports that the star player for Paris Saint-Germain has agreed to play in Saudi Arabia the next season.

According to a Saudi insider involved in the negotiations, the sale was reached on favorable terms.

“The contract is outstanding. It’s enormous. Without naming the club in question, the source continued, “We are still finalizing some aspects.

The player’s father refuted the rumors in response and added that no verbal or written agreement had been established.

Jorge Messi, who also represents his son, claimed that there was “absolutely nothing” agreed upon with any team for the upcoming season. “At the end of the season, we’ll make a decision. Nothing is acknowledged verbally, in writing, or both. Leo’s name is only used in bogus news.

Messi already has a partnership with Visit Saudi in which he promotes the country’s tourist destinations.

The 35-year-old’s current club, Paris Saint-Germain, recently punished him for missing training because he was in Saudi Arabia.
