INEC officials have yet to arrive at Tinubu’s voting station.

Authorities from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are yet to arrive at the polling unit of APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu. His polling place is PU 085, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.

Observers, police officers, and journalists were seen on the area, although INEC officials were yet to arrive as of 8:51 a.m.

According to affidavits, Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate and former Governor of Lagos State, was born on March 29, 1952, to Abibatu Mogaji, a trader who subsequently became the Iyaloja of Lagos State.

He went to St. John’s Primary School in Lagos and the Children’s Home School in Ibadan. Tinubu then moved to the United States in 1975, where he attended Richard J. Daley College and then Chicago State University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree in 1979. Tinubu worked with the American companies Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells, and GTE Services Corporation. Tinubu returned to Nigeria in 1983 and joined Mobil Oil Nigeria, eventually becoming a business executive.
