The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has referred to the procedure for compiling and presenting presidential election results as a “sham.”

In an interview with the Arise News morning show on Tuesday, Ladipo Johnson, a spokesperson for the NNPP Presidential Campaign Council, made this claim.

On Saturday, Nigerians went to the polls to choose their chosen candidates for the presidency and the national assembly, but there have been accusations leveled against INEC on how it handled the results in some circles.

The process for gathering and presenting presidential election results has been referred to be a “sham” by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
