Oshoala Set for Clash with Former Barça Teammates at PayPal Park

Asisat Oshoala will face off against her former FC Barcelona Femení teammates tonight when Bay FC hosts the Catalan side in an international friendly at PayPal Park, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

This match marks the first time Oshoala, a record six-time African Women’s Player of the Year, will compete against her previous club since joining the NWSL side Bay FC in February.

The encounter is expected to be highly competitive, featuring Oshoala and her Bay FC teammates against Barcelona, who are making their third visit to the USA. Barcelona, coming off a flawless season with titles in Liga F, Copa de la Reina, and the UEFA Champions League, will also showcase Ballon d’Or Féminin winner Aitana Bonmatí.
