Potter said Chelsea is in good spirits despite the horror run.

Graham Potter expressed his frustration at Chelsea’s inability to translate their training-ground successes into victories, but emphasized that despite their current struggles, spirits are still high.

The Blues have not won in the Premier League since defeating Crystal Palace on January 15 and are 14 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham. On Saturday, they play home to relegation-threatened Leeds.

Yet according to the Chelsea boss, things are still going well in the camp.

“Day by day, we’re seeing a lot of benefits,” said Potter. Yet in terms of results, they haven’t been able to translate themselves onto the field.

Although, in my opinion, performances haven’t been as poor as results, we are aware of the nature of our industry and the unfavorable results.

“But, in terms of everyday practice, the players’ attitude, the team’s cohesiveness, and the players’ strength, that’s all positive. But, given the poor results, it is difficult to discuss the advantages.

Potter was eager to accept blame for a slump that had left his team in 10th place in the Premier League and in danger of missing out on the Champions League for the upcoming season.

The former Brighton manager expressed sympathy with Chelsea fans’ displeasure.

He replied, “We’re hurting too, but we also know they’re hurting.

“I can understand that. We appreciate their support, which has been unwavering throughout.

“You anticipate a terrible reaction when you lose at home, 1-0, to the worst team (Southampton last month). They have been fair to us, but we haven’t been able to provide them with enough to make them enthusiastic about the team.

Every team in the world experiences challenging periods, but there are also times when everything goes right.

“Our task is to persevere through it. There is no alternative. Keep pushing forward, remaining steadfast, believing that we can turn things around, and that victory is just around the corner.
