The Nigerian lad who went viral for lasting earlier Peter Obi's convoy successful Lagos has yet regained his freedom.

The boy, Alabi Quadri, was released from situation today, Thursday, April 17, according to his lawyer, Iniebehe Effiong.

Quadri was earlier detained by the constabulary and subsequently charged successful tribunal connected allegations of armed robbery, which the lawyer insists were not substantiated.

He has been successful detention since January 2025 aft helium was reportedly taken to a constabulary presumption by Area Boys.

In a caller update helium posted connected X, lawyer Iniebehe Effiong said Quadri has been freed.
