Security organizations are instructed by Tinubu to find the Plateau killings’ masterminds.

According to his spokesman, Dele Alake, President Bola Tinubu has ordered security forces to track down those responsible for the killings and mayhem in Plateau State.

The President strongly denounced the most recent killings that took place among families in the Plateau’s Mangu Local Government Area and other areas of Benue State.

Additionally, Tinubu stated that the nation must end the cycle of violence.

The President reportedly added, “It is most unfortunate that in this orgy of violence, an innocent eight-month-old baby in Farin Lamba community of Vwang District, Jos South Local Government, died in a conflict she knew nothing about,” according to a statement released by Alake on Tuesday.

“The terrible loss of innocent life is usually a major effect of ongoing conflict.

Tolerance and forgiveness for every perceived wrongdoing are necessary to create thriving, peaceful, and affluent communities.

The President invited the leadership of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Jama’atu Nasril Islam, and Christian Association of Nigeria to collaborate in order to build genuine and enduring peace. He also urged socio-religious leaders in the volatile areas to do the same.

“While reaffirming his government’s strong determination to stamp out violent crimes and all forms of criminalities everywhere in Nigeria, the President has directed security agencies to fish out the masterminds of the dastardly acts to face the full wrath of law,” the statement continued.

Additionally, he urged the emergency response organizations and the governments of the states of Plateau and Benue to support and aid those who have been displaced as a result of the violence.
