In an effort to encourage the growth of sustainable foreign direct investments (FDIs), Nigerdock, the promoter of the Snake Island Integrated Free Zone (SIIFZ), has partnered with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

European businesses would find it easier to domiciliate thanks to the international cooperation that UNIDO is coordinating through the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) and the Investment and Technology Promotion Office Germany (ITPO Germany).

“This visit represents a significant step towards strengthening the partnership between private sector companies in Nigeria and Europe,” stated Maher Jarmakani, the CEO of Nigerdock. Our vision and our long-term commitment to Nigeria’s economic empowerment are ideally aligned, and we are confident that our partnership will help Nigeria become more industrialized, attract more foreign direct investment, create jobs, and embrace more environmentally friendly practices.

The businesses that make up the Private Sector Mission (PSM) are also experts in waste management, the circular economy, and sustainable packaging.
