The former Minister of State for Mines and Steel, Uche Oga, was also urged by the APC presidential candidate to halt all legal proceedings against Ikechi Emenike, the party’s candidate for governor.

We are politicians, so I’m asking Uche Oga to come home so we can settle this in our living room, he remarked. There’s no need to involve a third party; we can resolve matters amicably.

“I admire your efforts today, kids. You won’t need to take the same four-year course twice in eight years.

“I pray that God would give you the motivation to cast your vote for the APC on election day.”

Emenike, the party’s candidate for governor in Abia State, predicted that the party will triumph in the national, state, and local legislative elections.

He emphasized that in order for Abia to be developed once more, it had to be saved from underdevelopment.

With the APC in control of the state government, he claimed, backlogs in salaries, pensions, and gratuities will become a thing of the past.

“Hope is on the way,” he remarked, “and I want our young people to know that in the upcoming year, unemployment will be a thing of the past.

“I will be a parent to all, and we will bring back our errant party members because what unites us is stronger than what divides us,” he declared.

Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, urged the state’s party members to make a concerted effort to put aside their disagreements in order to win the election.

Kingsley Ononogbu, the state’s APC chairman, also urged the people of the South-East to avoid making the same mistake twice by abstaining from regional politics.

He declared, “Tinubu possesses the capability and expertise, exposure, experience, and will to change the course of events for Nigeria.

“You can count on our support for both you and our governorship candidate.

“Our votes in the South-East are for the APC in the presidential and governorship elections, and we have the right to demand that we receive an equitable portion of the democratic dividends.”
