The United States of America is “the friend and partner of the Nigerian people,” he continued.

One of the individuals in the film, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield, stated that free and fair elections in Nigeria will “help create a freer and fairer world for everyone.”

Ms. Thomas-Greenfield went on to say that America has an interest in Nigeria’s development and that Nigerians’ success is crucial for the future of democracy in both the United States and Nigeria.

Samantha Powers, a USAID Administrator who appeared in the film as well, likewise asked Nigerians to visit to get ready for the election.

Ms. Powers continued by saying that because every voter matters, Nigerians must be ready to cast their ballots.
