2023 Election: In Adamawa, Atiku wins his personal polling place by a wide margin.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), won his polling place with 282 votes.
At precisely 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, Mr. Abubakar and his wife Titi cast their ballots in Polling Unit 012 in the Ajiya ward.
All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu received 57 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) received six.
The New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso received one vote.
The PDP also triumphed in the presidential election at Polling Unit 15, in the Ajiya ward, which is right across from Mr. Abubakar’s unit, with 74 votes.
The LP and NNPP received one vote each, while the APC received 12 votes.
Since he started running for president, Mr. Abubakar will win his Polling Unit for the first time.
PDP polled 61, APC polled 25, LP polled 1, and NNPP polled 3 in the House of Representatives.
For the Senate, the PDP polled at 49, the APC at 34, the Labour Party at 0, and the NNPP at 5.
