Nyesom Wike’s statement that the G-5 Governors would soon close the window for negotiations over support for the PDP’s presidential candidate going into the 2023 presidential election, the PDP has finally responded.

Remember that the G-5 governors, also known as the integrity group, have been saying for a few weeks that in order for them to support Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign, the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, must step down in order for someone from the south to fill the position and bring “equity and fairness.”

Remember that Nyesom Wike stated that they would announce their presidential preference in January. Wike is stating that if the necessary steps are not taken, the opportunity for dialogue would soon be closed.

However, Phrank Shaibu, the SA Public Communication for Atiku Abubakar, responded to Governor Wike’s remark about closing the window on Channels Television during the Politics Today show by saying,
