Lisabi, a movie by actors Lateef Adedimeji and Mobimpe, has won the Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) grant astatine the 12th variation of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA.

The ongoing 2026 AMVCA awards ceremonial was held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, astatine Eko Hotel and Suites successful Lagos.

Receiving the award, Lateef dedicated it to his wife, Mobimpe, who gave commencement to triplets a week agone aft 5 years of marriage.

He said, “This grant is dedicated to the pistillate who made maine pursuit my dream. The pistillate who gave maine my 3 kings.”

DAILY POST reports that the movie won the grant for 2 consecutive years.
