2026 World Cup: Tuchel drops Cole Palmer, Foden from England squad

England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has excluded the duo of Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Phil Foden (Manchester City) from his squad to the 2026 World Cup.

Another large omission is Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.

Tuchel volition officially announced his 26-man squad on Friday.

Foden was named successful Tuchel’s erstwhile squad successful March, for the friendlies against Japan and Uruguay.

Palmer besides started against Japan and Tuchel said some helium and Foden “struggled to marque an impact.”

Meanwhile, the BBC are reporting that Newcastle’s Dan Burn, Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly, Arsenal’s Noni Madueke and Brentford’s Jordan Henderson are successful enactment to beryllium called-up.
