2027 elections: Jigawa only female Reps aspirant withdraws from race

Ringim and Taura Federal constituency aspirant, Bar. Firdausi Sunusi Umar has stepped down her ambition and declared enactment for the statement candidate.
Bar.Fiddaisi is among the eleven aspirants seeking the All progressives Congress, APC, ticket.

All the 9 aspirants excluding Bar. Firdausi had earlier stepped down for Yusha’u Muhammad who is considered arsenic a statement candidate.

Hours to the superior election, .Firdausi announced her withdrawal during a courtesy telephone to Governor Umar Namadi successful Government House Dutse.

In a missive of her withdrawal addressed to the National enactment chairman, received by the authorities ineligible adviser, Bar. Baffa Alhassan, she said the determination was taken successful the wide involvement of unity, stableness and advancement of the party.

She said the determination follows consultations with enactment elders and stakeholders and pursuant of the proviso of conception 87(1) of the electoral enactment 2026.

“I, therefore, wholeheartedly endorse Yusha’u Muhammad of our enactment for Ringim and Taura Federal constituency ticket,” she said.
