
The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has disclosed that 24 ships are presently discharging petroleum products and different commodities astatine the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin-Can Island ports successful Lagos State.
According to the authority, the vessels are offloading assorted consignments, including bulk wheat, bulk salt, wide cargo, caller fish, containers, bulk sugar, petrol, bulk gas, diesel and bulk urea.
An further 46 vessels carrying petroleum products, nutrient supplies and different goods are expected to get astatine the Lagos ports successful the coming days.
The NPA stated that the incoming ships are expected to convey wide cargo, bulk urea, crude oil, bulk gas, bulk wheat, bulk millet, bulk sugar, condensate, aviation fuel, containers loaded with assorted goods, bulk brackish and petrol.
The authorization further disclosed that 9 vessels had already arrived astatine the ports and were awaiting berthing approval.
