The war between Israel and Palestinian militants, which is currently in its eleventh month, has claimed the lives of at least 40,476 individuals, according to the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza on Tuesday.

Ministry estimates indicate that since the war started on October 22, when Hamas militants attacked Israel, 93,647 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip. The toll includes 41 dead in the last 24 hours.
