The family reportedly cooked rice for breakfast on Saturday morning before the parents departed.

“The mother was preparing dinner in the evening when they returned, and she gave the order to wake up the eldest daughter who was sleeping when they noticed she was cold and gnashing her teeth,” a source told Daily Trust.
“After being taken to University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) and Ilọrin General Hospital, she was declared dead after being taken to Oreofe Hospital.”
But when they fetched their sister’s corpse and hurried them to UITH, they encountered the other two kids who were displaying the same symptoms.
