Abia Government advises residents to avoid contact with rodents

Abia State authorities has urged residents of the State to debar contact  with rodents and to instantly question aesculapian attention, erstwhile sick.

The Commissioner for Information, Okey Kanu  gave the proposal on Monday at Government House, Umuahia, portion releasing the result of  Abia State enforcement assembly gathering presided implicit by Governor Alex Otti.

Kanu said that determination are  nary confirmed cases of Ebola virus, Covid-19, Cholera, Lassa Fever, Rabies, Mpox, Lassa Fever oregon Diphtheria successful immoderate portion of the State.

He, however, urged the residents to maintain  idiosyncratic and biology hygienes.

“Residents are urged to support idiosyncratic and biology hygiene, debar interaction with rodents and question aesculapian attraction erstwhile ill”, the Commissioner said.

Kanu  said that the State authorities is monitoring the outbreak of Ebola Virus successful Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, arsenic alerted by the World Health Organization, WHO, and the Nigerian Centre for Diseases Control and Prevention, NCDC.
