Abia PDP Chairman clinches House of Reps ticket, as candidates emerge 

The Abia State section of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has released the results of its House of Representatives superior predetermination conducted on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

The State Chairman of the PDP, Amah Abraham Nnanna, clinched the summons for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

Announcing the results successful Umuahia, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Ikenna Onuoha, said the predetermination followed the prescribed Electoral Act and was conducted successful enactment with the PDP Constitution 2017, arsenic amended.

According to Onuoha, the election, which produced candidates successful 4 national constituencies, was conducted done statement and affirmation modes.

Other candidates are: Akpulonu Solomon for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency.

For Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Humphrey Chukwudi Benson emerged.

For Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency, Ajuziogu Roland got the ticket.
