Adamawa commissioners, special advisers defect to APC

Twenty-two Commissioners and Special Advisers successful Adamawa State connected Friday announced their defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC, affirming their loyalty to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that the politician had earlier connected Friday formally registered with the APC.

Chairman of the Commissioners’ Forum, Mr Alloucious Babadoke, said the State Executive Council members resolved to politically align with the governor.

“On behalf of the 22 enforcement assembly members, I state our full loyalty and committedness to the caller aerial medication by joining the APC. The commissioners supported the governor’s governmental decisions due to the fact that his enactment has positioned the authorities arsenic a developmental model,” Babadoke said.

Also speaking, the Commissioner for Information, James Iliya, expressed readiness to mobilise supporters crossed the authorities to registry with APC.

The governor’s peculiar advisers besides collectively resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to articulation the APC.
