After initial rejection, Lagos Assembly confirms Adelabu as LASPA GM

Members of Lagos State House of Assembly person confirmed the assignment of Mrs Adebisi Adelabu arsenic General Manager of Lagos State Parking Authority, LASPA.

The lawmakers confirmed her assignment astatine plenary connected Monday.

DAILY POST reports that her support is coming aft the lawmakers had earlier rejected her appointment a fewer weeks ago, citing irregularities.

But aft months of legislative scrutiny, the lawmakers sealed her appointment.

Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, who presided implicit the plenary said the confirmation was pursuant to Section 92 of the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.

He added that the lawmakers had recovered her worthy to beryllium appointed for the position.
