Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court successful Maitama, Abuja, on Monday adjourned the proceedings of Ali Bello and Dauda Sulaiman until June 2, 2026.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is prosecuting Ali Bello, a nephew of erstwhile Kogi authorities governor, Yahaya Bello, alongside Dauda Sulaiman connected an amended 16-count complaint bordering connected alleged misappropriation and wealth laundering involving N10.27 billion.

The EFCC, successful a station connected X, said during Monday’s proceedings, the 17th prosecution witness, Ahmed Audu Abubakar, was cross-examined by defence counsel, A.M. Aliyu, SAN.

The witnesser testified connected transactions linked to the acquisition of respective properties successful Abuja, including those located astatine No. 35 Danube Street, Plot 1773 Guzape, Sheriff Plaza, Ikogosi Close, Durban Street and Dalla Hills Street.

Following the proceedings, Justice Omotosho adjourned the substance to June 2 for continuation of hearing.
