Anselmino, Chelsea’s New Signee, Will Return To Boca

Aaron Anselmino, a defender for Boca Juniors, has joined Chelsea for an unknown sum, the Premier League team said on Thursday.

However, for the 2024–2025 season, the 19-year-old will return to the Argentine team on loan.

Anselmino, who made his professional debut in June 2023, has signed a seven-year contract with Stamford Bridge after making ten senior games with Boca.

Anselmino is Chelsea’s sixth summer transfer window addition. He scored his first goal in a Copa Sudamericana victory over Trinidense in April.

On August 18, London club Chelsea, who placed sixth in the Premier League the previous year, will play champion Manchester City at home to start the new campaign.
