The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the by-elections for Ungogo and Kano Municipal seats successful the Kano State House of Assembly.
In Kano Municipal, APC campaigner Aliyu Nabil Daneji scored 7,484 votes to triumph the seat. The Returning Officer, Professor Ibrahim Tajo Siraj, announced the effect and declared him the winner.
In Ungogo constituency, APC campaigner Aminu Sa’ad secured 8,975 votes to clinch victory. The Returning Officer, Professor Ali Tijjani Abdullahi, besides declared him duly elected.
Major absorption parties, including the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), were not connected the ballot.
