The hometown of Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who is running again on behalf of the APC, is Gwoza, which is located roughly 150 miles south of Maiduguri.

All attempts to reach Ndume, the chairman of the senate committee on the army, for confirmation failed because his phone line was disconnected at the time of publication. End
