BREAKING: Court sentences ex-Power Minister, Mamman to 75 years imprisonment

The Federal High Court sitting successful Abuja has sentenced erstwhile Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, to 75 years successful situation for stealing nationalist funds totalling astir N33.8 billion.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, brought the lawsuit earlier the court.

Mamman was accused of wealth laundering and conspiracy involving funds meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric powerfulness projects.

The ruling marks a large escalation from the earlier stage, wherever the tribunal lone dismissed his no-case submission and ordered him to unfastened his defence.
