A Federal High Court successful Abuja has ordered the impermanent forfeiture of 9 properties linked to erstwhile Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva.
Justice Obiora Egwuatu granted the bid pursuing an exertion by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), moved by its counsel, Oluwaleke Atolagbe.
In his ruling, the justice said: “An interim bid of this honourable tribunal is made forfeiting the properties being properties suspected to beryllium proceeds of immoderate unlawful activities pending the work and proceeding of the question connected announcement for last forfeiture order.”
