Dead Cross-dresser Discovered On The Abuja Expressway

The death of a cross-dresser who has not been recognized has prompted a swift inquiry, according to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police Benneth Igweh.

Early on Thursday morning, the cross-dresser’s body was discovered beside the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway in Abuja.

“A distress call was received by the Command Control Room on August 8, 2024, at about 07:40 am, that an unidentified lady was seen lying motionless along Katampe-Mabushi Expressway, and a team of Detectives were immediately dispatched to the scene,” the Command’s spokeswoman, SP Josephine Adeh, stated in a statement.

According to the statement, initial inquiries have shown that the person was a man fully clothed in female attire who lacked any kind of identification.

“He was brought right away to Maitama District Hospital, where the attending physicians pronounced him deceased.

“A comprehensive and discrete investigation has been ordered by Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, CP Benneth Igweh, to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death.”
