The Department of State Services, DSS, connected Thursday arraigned erstwhile Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, for allegedly accessing the telephone speech of Nuhu Ribadu, nationalist information adviser, NSA.
DAILY POST reports that El-Rufai is being prosecuted connected a five-count amended complaint earlier the Abuja Federal High Court.
The prosecution informed the tribunal astatine the commencement of proceedings that the complaint has been amended from 3 to 5 counts.
Consequently, the presiding judge, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, struck retired the erstwhile count.
El-Rufai pleaded not blameworthy to the five-count amended charge.
DAILY POST recalls that the erstwhile FCT Minister had successful February, during an interrogation connected Arise Television’s Prime Time said “someone wiretapped” Ribadu’s phone, allowing him to perceive to the NSA instructing information operatives to effect his arrest.
