EFCC’s case against Okorocha is dismissed by the court, breaking

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s lawsuit against Senator Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, was dismissed by a Federal Capital Territory High Court.

The court referred to the allegations of fraud and abuse of authority made by the EFCC as a misuse of the legal system.

Justice Yusuf Halilu, the sitting judge, based his decision on the EFCC’s filing of a comparable allegation against the former governor of Imo State at the Federal high court, whose case was decided in the former governor’s favor in December of last year.
