The All Progressives Congress, APC, has won 5 of the six chairmanship positions contested successful the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, country assembly elections.
In Bwari Area Council, APC campaigner Joshua Ishaku won the chairmanship spot with 18,466 votes.
Also, APC’s Chris Garki won the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, chairmanship position.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s Kasim Mohammed won successful Gwagwalada Area Council.
In the aforesaid vein, APC candidates – Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, Nuhu Daniel Kwali and Abdullahi Umar Abubakar won the chairmanship elections successful Kuje, Kwali and Abaji country councils.
The elections reaffirmed APC’s dominance successful the FCT, with lone Gwagwalada Area Council going to the absorption PDP.
